Privacy-first design

Steep & Pour is built so your brew data stays on your device. We do not operate user accounts or a remote brew database.

1. No personal data collection by STEEP & POUR LTD

We do not collect, store, or sell personal profiles. Recipes, preferences, and brew-log entries are saved locally on your phone using on-device storage.

2. Local storage

The app may store method defaults, custom recipes, unit preferences, cue settings, and tasting notes on your device. You can clear the brew log or reset recipes from Settings. Uninstalling the app removes local data according to your device OS.

3. Notifications permission

If you allow notifications, Android may show ongoing brew step cues while the app is backgrounded. This stays on-device; we do not receive notification content.

4. Legal pages in the app

Opening Privacy or Terms in the app loads pages from steepandpour.online in a WebView. That brief network request is only for fetching these public documents.

5. No analytics SDKs

Steep & Pour does not embed third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

6. Children

The app is a general lifestyle utility intended for adults who brew coffee or tea (18+ audience for store listing). We do not knowingly collect children’s data.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
